SUMMARY

Ensures a quality product by operating the kettle cooked chip fryer and helping to maintain a clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for frying the kettle-cooked chips.
• Inspects peeled potatoes before frying.
• Inspects finished potato chips.
• Cleans machines, conveyors, walls, and floors.
• Cleans with high pressure, water, caustic and acidic chemicals.
• Sweeps and cleans up picnic, parking lot and other outside areas.
• Recognize problems with equipment or product and reports to management.
• Operates popcorn line.
• Operates forklift as needed.
• Follows proper safety practices and procedures as a routine duty of position.
• Fills in for other related positions as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;
• Three to six months related experience and/or training or;
• Equivalent Combination or education and experience.
