Position Overview: We are seeking hardworking and reliable Carpenters to immediately join our construction and renovation crew. This is an hourly position perfect for someone with general construction knowledge who wants to grow their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a member of the HHC Crew, you’ll work directly with our Lead Carpenter and other team members to execute high-quality renovations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general construction tasks, including framing, demolition, material handling, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, masonry, trim/finish work, and clean-up.
• Follow project plans and instructions from the Lead Carpenter to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
• Learn and develop new construction skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project success.

Qualifications:

• General construction knowledge and experience using hand and power tools.
• A VERY strong work ethic and willingness to learn & adapt.
• Ability to take direction, follow instructions and quickly apply new information & techniques to your work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safety protocols on a construction site.
• Must have and maintain a personal set of hand tools (cordless drill, measuring tape, hammer, utility knife, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.). Larger tools and specialized equipment will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace: We have a strict adherence to a drug & alcohol-free workplace - no exceptions - if you can’t adhere to this policy, this is not the job for you.
• Language: Fluency in English is required.
