Are you an experienced estimator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the construction industry? We are an established construction firm seeking a talented Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects, utilizing your expertise to ensure accurate cost estimation and contribute to the successful completion of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, commercial construction, and project management.

Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your duties will include:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for various commercial construction projects, from preliminary to final estimates.
2. Analyzing architectural drawings and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
3. Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, and construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
4. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
5. Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
6. Preparing reports and presentations to explain estimates and proposals.
7. Working closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that estimates are accurate and projects are completed within budget.
8. Continually monitoring industry trends and pricing to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.
2. Proven experience in construction estimation.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
6. Proficiency in relevant estimation and project management software.
7. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
