QUALITY:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires formal education and training in the field or in a related area. MRI certification required from ARRT or ARMRIT. SimonMed Imaging also requires a valid “Hands On” CPR where applicable. Requires registration as a General Radiographer in the State of Texas. Required education: High school or equivalent. 1 year experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, pushing and pulling more than 40 pounds, and requires pushing patients in wheelchairs, sitting for prolonged periods of time, frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching and occasional balancing and stooping. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. May be exposed to biohazards and chemicals as outlined in the MSDS Manual; and other hazards/unpleasant working conditions.
