Job Description

Overview:

As a top ENR contractor, our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager that will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plant expansions/renovations, additions, pump stations, lift stations, and new facility builds across multiple project sites in North Carolina. This role requires extensive industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of water/wastewater projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead project teams including engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as primary project contact.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Construction Engineering (or related field experience).
• 5-10+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction.
• Proven track record managing large projects ($20M+ preferred).
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
