Job Description

Our client, a prominent institution in higher education, is seeking an Administrative Assistant-Higher Education (Workday) to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Religious Studies department supporting various academic functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization's mission.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant-Higher Education (Workday)

Location: Onsite 5 days, New York, NY 10003

Pay Range: $28 - $32 per hour
Duration 3-6 months

What's the Job?

• Approving timesheets for student workers and research assistants.
• Managing graduate admissions in SLATE.
• Coordinating course scheduling and student registration.
• Providing advisement and processing declarations/exceptions.
• Offering other ad hoc support as needed.

What's Needed?

• Experience with administrative functions in higher education, preferably at NYU or a similar institution.
• Familiarity with Workday or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset to support various departmental needs.
