SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia’s Best Places to Work, is seeking a Navy Weapons System Model Based Systems Engineer. This position is for an engineer to work as part of a team performing model based systems engineering and/or mission thread analysis. The focus of the MBSE task is modeling of the system, tying the design into the requirements, and helping establish a robust digital engineering environment. The mission thread task involves learning and modeling concepts so that decision makers can better understand capabilities, thus empowering them to make programmatic decisions involving the weapons system.
Clearance:An Interim Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements:Preferred Skills and Experience:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000 - $140,000 (USD) depending on experience and expertise level. This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
