The Psychology Department at Joe DiMaggio Children?s Hospital is seeking a motivated and dynamic pediatric neuropsychologist to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have clinical training and experience in the neuropsychological evaluation of children and adolescents with brain injuries and disorders of consciousness. The incumbent will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of specialists in a pediatric hospital setting. Outpatient responsibilities will include neuropsychological testing for patients with a range of neurocognitive conditions referred by the trauma program, rehabilitation program, and other hospital-based referrals. Inpatient responsibilities will include neurosurgery consults, and backup coverage of the inpatient rehabilitation unit, as needed. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program and be licensed (or license eligible) in the state of Florida. Completion of an APA-accredited internship and formal fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology meeting Houston guidelines is required.Schedule requirements are Monday ? Friday, 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or on call expectations. Opportunity for telehealth and remote report writing time may be considered.
