CT/X-Ray Technician

Position Overview

Join our team as a CT/X-Ray Technician at a well-established 137-bed acute care hospital in Sanford, NC. Our facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center, offering a wide range of services, including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, and more.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for varied shifts, including weekends and nights, with 12-hour shifts typically scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures independently.


• Ensure high-quality imaging results while adhering to safety protocols.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.


• Maintain a cheerful and team-oriented demeanor.


• Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ARRT, RT, CT


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CT and X-Ray.


• Education: Certification by the appropriate bodies.

Unit Information

This role is situated in the Imaging Department, featuring advanced equipment including GE CT Revolution and various GE and Siemens X-ray rooms. The expected patient demographic includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations.
